Yes! I thought of you as the news just came through. For all of us who wrote postcards, donated, called, we were inspired by you, Jessica! A day to celebrate!
Yay!!!!!!!!! To me that’s the icing on the cake today!!!!!! Thanks to you, Jessica and to all the others that worked tirelessly to alert so many of us if it’s importance. When we work together, we CAN make it happen!
So relieved! But still waiting on the results of WI SD 8 and Jodi Sinykin before really celebrating. If Jodi wins, she denies WI Senate R's a supermajority. (I wrote for both campaigns and am JAZZED about Judge Janet's win -- just still crossing fingers and toes for Jodi, too.)
Bill S. who was working really hard on Jodi's race said he saw a tweet that most of the remaining Jodi uncounted ballots are from Milwaukee which would be good. But boy it's close and apparently there is no auto recount in WI. So if it's really close, the loser has to pay for a recount.
Thanks for all you do Jessica! And for everyone who wrote postcards and made phone calls. Thank goodness about Judge Janet. Four women form the majority now!!
Hooray hooray HOORAY for democracy and human rights!! Here's again expressing deep appreciation for our extraordinary coach and cheerleader Jess Craven!!
Yes, that was me, inspired by your Substack post's listing of GDHQ as a phonebanking opportunity. Much appreciated, Jess! (While Tamara and I were debriefing, she said she was texting you even though you were on vacation.)
Jessica I am over the moon with joyous relief about Wisconsin results. Teared up when I heard the call for our side. Thought of you immediately. What a good day for democracy. ❤️🤍💙
Fantastic news! All our postcards, phonebanking, textbanking, and the amazing canvassing of so many people in Wisconsin worked. Also, Chicago came through tonight with a win for Brandon Johnson!!

Indeed we can!
May this win be the start of an avalanche of voters waking up!
Indeed!

Aw, thank you, Robin!

Do you think there's any chance?

Incredible! I'm thrilled to hear it's even in play!
As of 7:50pm Pacific, Dan Knodl was ahead 50.5% to Jodi's 49.5% with 93% of the votes counted. :( Think good thoughts....
Razor thin race last I checked. Worrisome given the GOP legislature's vow to impeach Justice Janet if Knodi wins.
Green Bay, WI reelected its Democratic mayor, despite an avalanche of GOP spending.
Well, that's good. Also I understand that if they do impeach a Supreme Court Justice the Governor gets to appoint her replacement, no?
Sinykin and Knodl are .74% apart, but it looks like she'll lose (just barely).
And the county that I was born and raised in came thru, yippee yi yo ki-yay!
Yay!
I couldn’t be happier!!
Me neither!

Aw, you're the best! Did I hear that you were at the Grassroots Dems HQ phonebank a couple of days ago?

You are very very welcome!
Thank you!
Thank Wisconsin voters, especially the young voters who turned out to vote.
Thank qualified women who decide to run for elected office, not for ego but for the community good.
Thanks for reducing the chaos and anxiety, for being able to sleep a little better.
Keep bending the arc of the moral universe toward justice!
Right on!
Hooray!!
I have totally forgotten about my hand cramps from writing postcards!
