I've seen enough: Janet Protasiewicz defeats Daniel Kelly for Wisconsin Supreme Court. The result flips ideological control of the court from conservative to liberal, a huge victory for the pro-choice side.
Oh my God, y’all.
She won. WE WON!!!
And it looks like we won decisively.
I can’t begin to tell you what great news this is for Wisconsin and our country, and what hopeful news this is for, well, all of us.
As Ben Wikler said:

This isn’t a prediction. It isn’t a hint. It’s just a note. And my note is, this election was a release valve for twelve years of Democratic rage in Wisconsin about Republicans rigging our state and smashing our democracy—and then using that power to rip away our rights.
Truer words were never spoken. AND WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED.
I couldn’t be more proud of and grateful to every one of you who volunteered to help with this election, or donated, or reminded a friend to vote, or simply voted yourself. The reverberations of your actions will be felt for years to come.
I’m bursting with joy. You should be, too.
As for the other side? They should be very, very concerned.
It’s a beautiful thing.
Jess
THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO ❤️
Yes! I thought of you as the news just came through. For all of us who wrote postcards, donated, called, we were inspired by you, Jessica! A day to celebrate!
