I absolutely love the featured meme! My mantra, which relates to it is:

"It's far more important to fix the problem than fix the blame!"

Said another way, paraphrasing the meme:

"Democrats Fix Problems. Republicans Fix Blame."

Federal law prohibits any photo ops for political purposes at Arlington National Cemetery. Trumps agreement stipulates that he NOT break any law, federal or state in order to remain free.

Exactly. Why is he not in jail?

A couple more comments:

The notion of funding down ballot races also helps our top of ballot. If locals come out to support local or state candidates, they'll likely cast their vote for the top of ticket. Similarly, if they come out to support Harris/Walz, if they know the local or state candidates, they're more likely to vote for them.

Among the many things we want the press to press for answers from the other side, the list includes releasing a legitimate medical report on his injury. In a press conference, he actually pointed to the top of the ear and described how "it just hit the lobe as they call it." (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek534Xjme7c) Nobody to the best of my knowledge has even commented on that bit of genius.

Considering as how each state is now being left up to their own devices to determine whether a clump of cells has more legal standing than a full-grown woman, I suggest the down ballot races become a big priority for your state wherever you live

I missed the Friday sharing of what we did over the weekend, so thought I'd share here. We had an election open forum at the small public health non-profit I work for at the end of last week. The forum was focused on action over anxiety and everyone wanted to talk about what they could do. I shared your newsletter and walked through a handout of links and volunteer opportunities I've learned about here and shared my experiences with postcarding, texting, phonebanking, the importance of voting early and talking to friends and family and the match links for donating strategically. So MANY PEOPLE said they felt empowered, they learned so much, they were going to donate, they were going to host a postcarding party with their friends, it was so inspiring!

Then today, I learned that my local Indivisible group is distributing packets of Working America letters so I asked my colleagues if they wanted me to pick up packets of letters and 6 people signed up! I will now be requesting 200 letters instead of just the 25 I was planning to do!

re your item "Spread The Word," Vote Forward now has letters to send to American voters living abroad, reminding them of the importance of voting in this election. When you sign up you tell Vote Forward how many letters you want. They download them to you, you print them out and then use your own envelopes to mail them. You do have to finish the sentence, "I vote because....." on every letter, so you must pass a little test with them by writing a demo letter first. But that only takes a few minutes. Once done, you never have to do that step again. Also, it costs $1.65 postage per letter to send them. So more expensive than postcards. However, you are reaching a voting audience that no one ever pays attention to. And I like it because I can sign up for only 5 letters each time. So I get the hang of it all before committing to a ton of letters. And it only takes me 20 minutes max to complete those five.

In June I wrote 100 letters to voters overseas, sending them each an Absentee Ballot Registration Form. Now we are writing to remind them to vote and by what date and who to contact if they have problems with not getting their ballot. Vote Forward has a total of 60,000 Democratic voters names to write to. They still have over 53,000 names to complete. Check it out and sign up here:

Repeat; NYT data on undecideds, which none of us are,. Tell the undecided about Kamala and Tim. Ignore Trump bashing. the undecided already know what a louse Trump is. THEY MAY NOT KNOW of UNDERSTAND HOW DANGEROUS HE IS. But the bottom line is brag on President to be Harris. Lots of information in the NYT article 9/3 or 9/4, I'm so behind I have lost track. The upside for Harris/Walz is very high as they campaign to bring back the majority of Biden's 81 million voters and add a significant number of first time young voters out of that 16 million pool. Then the ticket is picking up more Never Ever Trump Republicans and additional black and Lationos. Trump, as many analysts have been saying, is topped out in his base. Unless he has a whole bevvey of unknown zombies out there, he is only losing voters across the spectrum who have had it with his chaos and "genius weave" thought patterns. The millions of new volunteers in addition to the existing grassroots volunteers who have joined up to put Harris/Walz over the top will do just that. PUT HARRIS/WALZ OVER THE TOP. And pick up a trifecta win in 2024. It's been a stormy 10 years but the SUN is finally out.🌞
