It was great, Jess, and you done us proud! The counterprogramming was perfect! I can't wait until tonight when I can watch the college football championship instead of trump attending (to) his inaugural balls (sorry/not sorry for that image).

Friends: I think that the Democratic Party must get a candidate for 2028 out there ASAP. If we don’t, the current president will spend the next 2 years conditioning the American people to the idea that it will be just fine if he stays in office past 4 years. It will be harder to do that if we get our candidate out there and in place early. For once, let us NOT leave an open vacuum for him to fill with his bile.

All of us have to keep reminding ourselves that the folks who voted for the felon, really don’t care about these obvious and in your face lies he is peddling! Their reported reasons for voting for him was that they believe his economic, domestic, foreign, and immigration policies align more with their own fears, and narrow minded views of the country and world we live in today! Therefore, it’s extremely important for these platforms and others like it to really attack his extremism when it raises its ugly head and it has already started and will continue throughout his regime. We should stay laser focused on his billionaire tax cuts, the gutting and or elimination of environmental, health and safety regulations, plundering SS, Medicare, The Affordable Care Act, etc. These are the real things that his regime are looking to scuttle. All the other rhetoric that he is spewing is just a smoke screen for his real “Project 2025” agenda! So we should keep our eyes and attentions on the Project 2025 themes that have and will continue throughout. He and they will tout their moves as going after the “Deep State”, when in actuality they really want to weaken our government so that they can take full and unchallenged control of our very existence! Please let’s not allow ourselves to get caught up in the felon’s outlandish rhetoric and showman ship tactics designed only as distractions for the felon and his criminal thugs attempt to demoralize us into submission! We must not let this happen ever!

Their aim is to deflect and blame Biden, but the price of eggs won't come down. Those that voted for him arei in for a rough ride and deservedly so. He will quickly turn his intentions to enriching himself and his billionaire buds, the climate will worsen and they will have no insurance as the floods and high winds ravage their homes. Stupidity and ignorance has a price, and that price is about to be paid by Trump ravaging the social safety nets, climate etc. MAGA=Make Americans Grovel Again. Hope his supporters enjoy the ‘winds’ of change.

I logged out of FB and Insta today and deleted the apps from my phone and iPad. I also don’t pay for Prime and cancelled my only 2 subscriptions, STARZ and ACORN TV via Prime and if I miss them I will pay directly for them through my Roku stick and not via AmazonPrime.

You can stream Prime on Roku. They are not the same company. Roku is a separate company. But for all I know Stephen Kay, Scott Rosenberg, or Charles Collier the shareholders of Roku may have donated to Trump‘s campaign or inauguration.

It is. You are correct, though it started as an Amazon product I believe. I don't use it anymore.

Great poem! I loved Langston Hughes too! He was a brilliant poet in my opinion and this poem just illustrated that!

Thank you everyone for this very informative presentation. Jessica's..."we get to carry the baton" of those before us who worked and fought for justice & equality, and for the self evident truths that all men and women are created equal, and deserve the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Many of whom never got to see the fruits of their labors.

To carry the baton is an honor and privilege.
