Use this spreadsheet to call/email/write any of our representatives as often as possible. Not just your own state reps, reach out to those in other states. Be as loud as you can and share this. Use your voice and make some “good trouble.”

This is great! I want to reach out to reps in other states but Indivisible had advised against that. Perhaps that was before things got so awful. What do folks think? Thanks so much for this

Great question and honestly I’m hesitant reaching out to those not in my state, but I’ve done it a lot. Ultimately I feel like many in Congress are not doing their Constitutional duty to uphold the law/do their job, so we have to reach out to them and overwhelm them to push the fact that the average American is being forgotten right now. I definitely think our House reps should hear from anyone if it has something to do with the committee they’re on, so my spreadsheet helps reach out to them via email since usually you can only email if you’re within their district. But if their decisions are impacting everyone across the US, shouldn’t they hear from all of us?

If trump can run for a third term, then so can Obama, right?!

The proposed amendment in the works actually prevents US Presidents from seeking a third term when they served two consecutive terms. This amendment only allows those US Presidents who served non-consecutive terms to run for another term, says a USA Today report.

Ask Pete what quick sound bites can the Democratic Party present as their equivalent to Project 2025? Their platform. Can he clarify what the Democratic Party stands for? I feel like it’s gotten waaaaaay distorted by the right (for example “Dems like to kill babies and invite criminals from other countries to come live in our neighborhoods, and switch your kid’s gender while they are at school,” etc). And apparently if you have to explain, it’s too much…? And it needs to be headline-flashy. Even if he can’t answer that now, it’s something he needs to do for homework. Dems need to stand for something other than “not Trump.”

I’d really like to ask Pete how average every day people can best resist now. What are his top 3 things?

For what it's worth, I think asking Pete what the next good president could do to reverse what's going on, get us out of this (because people need hope about what damage could be undone) and also what the NEW future could look like. Because we can do better by more Americans. I saw him in the John Stewart interview and he did speak about how we need to do something different to help all the folks who voted for the current administration. The more people who can hear this message, the better.

I'm watching the recording. I think asking what a "great" president would do in their first 100 days is wonderful and would make great content to show people what new leadership would do to make life better. How awesome for you to get Pete!!!

Like the dream president's 1st hundred days question? Sounds like a good vision for Dems

Yes, don't ask Pete to do negative. He is naturally positive although he's more competent at corrections than most - and corrections that make sense and don't offend in an alienating way. You could ask him how to get non-voters to vote without going negative.

Listening outside Montpelier Vermont. On Saturday, May 10th, I'm bringing 50+people up to Montreal for an event I'm calling At Par - using American dollars to pay at equal exchange as a gesture of friendship. Trying to get this across both countries. Vermont Treasurer Mike Pieciak and Burlington Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak will be participating and speaking briefly as will I and Alain Saulnier, a well known author and former director of programming for Radio Canada. Getting the word out.

Why is Ken Martin trying to punish David Hogg rather than support having younger, more attuned candidates?

And if the DNC is going to punish David Hogg they’d damn well better stop asking this senior citizen for contributions. We have so many brilliant and effective young Americans. Time to give them a real chance. It’s their future after all! 🇺🇸
