Great stuff, thank you! I also highly recommend watching Simon's discussion with Tom. Also check out "Closing Strong" from Courier Media which also features Simon.
This morning I felt crappy when I heard about the new NYT poll and what passes for analysis these days by the mainstream press. Then I realized that's exactly how it was intended to make me feel! Whether or not that particular poll is accurate, it was framed as the inevitable resurgence of Trump and that nothing that happened over the last month mattered. Public polling has become weaponized as part of a pysops campaign to make Trump's victory seem inevitable and minimize our enthusiasm for the historic movement we're now a part of. So I got over myself and signed up for a phone bank :)
This was unbelievable. This is the most good news Iβve seen in one place. Jessica , thank you just doesnβt seem enough. You are a shining star in these times. I appreciate you so much.
The hits just keep on coming. Conservative Latinas in California, who were once Democrats, are being trotted out by TFG, as a "counterweight" to Republicans for Harris. The reaction from a sizable number of Hispanic voters ranges from "So what?" to "Good riddance".
I love these. I spent Sunday writing postcards. Iβm tuning out the polls. Simon Rosenbergβs interview was terrific. Am I alone in almost not wanting to watch tomorrowβs debate? Watching anything involving Donald revolts me. Nothing new. Just hate, lies, bullying and grievances.
I will also spare myself from the one-sided rantings of the orange heel-wrestler tonight. The "debate" will be a complete waste of time for the vast majority of voters who have already made up their minds. The only positive aspect of the obsolete charade will be the handful of MAGAts who will come to their senses and commit to promoting their own self-interests by voting blue.
I zeroed in on this: "A poll from The New York Times found that abortion is now the number one election issue for American women under 45 years old, and that itβs nearly tied with the economy as the number one issue for women of all ages in battleground states."
Yesterday, in conversation with a dear friend, I learned how her sister in law plans to vote for TFFG because she is adamantly opposed to abortion. It's personal, my friend said. Her SIL would have been a lost baby had the option been on the table when her mother became pregnant.
So, she's willing (apparently) to overlook all the other nastiness for just this one issue. Do we know how or whether this poll knows the difference between abortion being a #1 issue because a voter is in favor or opposed?
This took significant effort to pull together and I really appreciate that effort. Thank you.
Thank you for that!

Yep--they did it in 2022 and we all fell for it. Let's not do that again.

Thanks, Monica! Thank you is more than enough. (:

That is quite a list!
Every week!
Amen!

I truly appreciate all this uplifting news; thanks so much!

Thanks, as always.
