The kids hanging in for a whole day of selling lemonade, and planning to donate the proceeds instead of buying something for themselves, is really awesome.
MJ has been doing fundraiser lemonade stands since they were about 4. I always encourage them to keep some of the money. Seems only fair for all the hard work they put in. Their first one was for Sandhill Cranes. ❤️
$355 is a great haul for a lemonade stand! congrats! The video is hilarious and should be shared far and wide. Thank you for this edition of so much good news, and no worries about being a day late - it's a 3 day weekend and hopefully you had a chance to get some rest. I do too, and have for 40+ years… in spite of it being distressingly (and increasingly) far right. I just spent a week in Port Townsend, WA so I could bask in Harris-Walz signs and enthusiasm. It was restorative!

Well to be fair they kept some of the proceeds for themselves ON TOP of the 355. But way more went to the fund.
Even better that they kept a little. Rewards are great motivators and life is not all work and sacrifice.
