Hi, all! Happy Sunday! In spite of the mayhem, it’s been a pretty good week—a week that proved over and over again that when we join together, use our voices, and show up in strength we can stop the tide of Republican damage and, in some cases, turn it back on those who created it.
Extra! Extra! is maybe my favorite segment of the week! Wait, maybe it's all the links you give us so we can email our Reps and Senators, or maybe it's.....oh, heck, I just LOVE you Jessica! You help to make my/our weeks SO MUCH FUN!
Such useful information. Thank you! I was especially interested in the announcement of the 17 technical assistance centers at the EPA for Environmental Justice with the IRA funding. I immediately emailed members of our county Climate Change Advisory Committee
Well done, thanks Jessica. One small correction, in respect of Justin Jones' return to the TN House; only two of the protesters were expelled, the third, a white woman, was not, by a margin of one vote.
“Defeated on same-sex marriage, the religious right went searching for an issue that would re-energize supporters and donors. The campaign that followed has stunned political leaders across the spectrum.”
Yeah I’ll read it tomorrow but I can tell you that I do t think they’re getting what they want from it. It’s the “wedge issue” no one cares about --or no one aside from their nuttiest base.
I adore these updates on the accomplishments. I have to gush for a moment. I was laughing so hard I had tears looking at the RuPublicans pics and reading the blurbs they typed up. As I went on, I just laughed more and more. Gee, I needed that! We all need a good laugh now and then.

Music to my ears! Thank you!

Ugh I knew that. Careless typo thanks for flagging!
We'll get through this by watching out for and helping each other.
My fave was Claretta Corrupta..😂
A gifted link(perhaps for reading tomorrow) as not to sway the mood from Sunday Extra, Extra💙

If they hoped to get another abortion-like issue out of it I think they will be disappointed.

We do!! So glad I helped provide some levity!
Jessica, you are one golden motivator. Love you!
Thank you!
Thanks as always for the good news. I started following the RUPublicans a few weeks ago. Love it!
Amazing, right?
Yes indeed!
