I always look forward to Extra Extra!

After every tumultuous week it keeps me hopeful.

The volunteer with a fox’s head filled my heart.

As always…thank you for ALL that you do.

Thank you so much for noting the $58M gift to the ALS Association - I hadn’t heard that and it totally made my day! My husband died of ALS just 6 days before the 2020 election. Caring for him in the midst of COVID was a huge challenge; one made better by the adaptive equipment and services provided to us by the Veteran’s Administration. Knowing that many more people (who aren’t Vets) will have access to equipment, respite care and experimental treatments is terrific news! Add in all the other good news and what a Happy St. Paddy’s Day it was. Thank you and Slainte!

Thank you for sharing that, Sheila! I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost a dear family member to ALS so it hit close to home for me, too. It's a dreadful disease and every bit of progress needs to be celebrated.

Jess, thank you - it's always amazing and gratifying what you find to share with us! I loved the sweet tenderness of the baby box video. And I needed a cigarette after the whale article!! Sharing on X and FB

Love, and take care, 💕

Much gratitude for Amy Ettinger’s Pease. Incredibly inspiring and touching and sad and hopeful and beautiful. Thank you for all the positives. I’m not a St. Patrick’s Day celebrate. Call me dressed in purple. 💜💜

I get it. It's my birthday so my relationship with it is all over the place. Anyway, I agree about Ettinger's piece. All the things. And mostly, a good reminder of how very precious every single day is.

I'm not a huge fan of Planned Parenthood being described as an abortion clinic as they provide many services.
