Regarding the Walgreens issue: how do I as a Medicare recipient with an AARP Walgreens pharmacy policy share my interests in this matter? I suspect that there are a considerable number of AARP policy holders with a bit of consumer clout on this issue. Waiting until renewal season close to a year from now wastes time and leverage.
Yeah good question. I think you just get the bare minimum there until such time as you can make a change. Your prescriptions are a must, but maybe any extra shopping is out?
I have CVS not Walgreens. But I wonder about folks like you and probably millions of others in the same boat, as well as MediCal recipients, et al. Totally get the boycott but at who else's expense? There's gotta be better leverage as you imply.
3/13 Monday Wow, Jessica, those videos are intense, the Schwarzenegger one and also the interview with Jon Stewart who nailed it. My parents lived through WWII, father was in combat for 3 years in the Pacific, not Europe. As Thom Hartmann says (I'm paraphrasing), when the last survivors of the last atrocities die off, new generations are less aware of history and it is more easily repeated.
Have a good week, will see you for the Wednesday phone bank. Don't like Hubdialer but will give it a whirl again. Far more relaxing to use manual dialing with OpenVPB and no awful music, but a small inconvenience in the big picture.
Dear Jessica, Thank you for such an uplifting newsletter. Thank you for the videos. Arnold was eloquent. Jon Stewart was terrific. What an idiot that Rep was! It is wonderful to see and hear positive issues in and for our country and its people. Thank you, thank you!
Tell it like it is Jon! And thanks for all the good news, Jessica!
Isn't that awesome?
Both the Jon Stewart and Arnold Schwarzenegger videos are so worth watching! Thank you, thank you.
I agree. Both absolutely must-sees. Thank YOU!
Thanks Jessica. Happy news when I needed it. This was very much appreciated.
Always!
