Hi, all. For all of the stressful parts, it was still a decent week. Let’s celebrate! Remember: what we focus on grows. So let’s focus on last week’s wins. Jess Read This 📖 This fall, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School became one of only 60 high schools across the country selected for the College Board’s AP African American Studies pilot program.
Thanks , Jess! What great news this week. I love it and love all the actions you put in today's (Monday's) newsletter. Got right on those and even did quite a bit of Spreading the News, starting with promoting the news from NDN and even spread some of the good news from your good news from yesterday. I feel like I did quite a bit but it's nothing compared to everything you shared about your trip to Mexico/AZ.
As always, thanks for being such an advocate and fighter for the good fight and leading us to do more! I appreciate you so much!
Thanks for the Happy Valentine, Jess! These items made me smile, for sure. We have things to celebrate.
I really loved the "Premature Electrification" ad during the Super Bowl!! My husband and I laughed out loud. It reminded us of a joke that circulated in South Carolina in the fall of 2019 when Governor McMaster overreacted to a potential hurricane and ordered an evacuation of Atlantic-area counties (in which we lived at the time). McMaster was accused of "premature evacuation." LOL!
So heartening to see the response from the College Board on the African American Studies AP course. I had written them and wonder how many others did also.
Thank you, Jess, for enabling so many to take action regularly! 💜
Love this - thank you!
