Recently Cliff Bentz, Republican serving in Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District, stated that if anyone was kicked off Medicaid, “they probably shouldn’t have had it in the first place!”

I would strongly urge anyone “represented” by this heartless clown to contact him expressing their extreme displeasure.

He can be reached:

2022256730 or 5417764646,

People in power need to be put on notice that we’re not going to “get over it!”

Thanks for all that good analysis. I would just add that why The Rump is taking such a destructive approach to the US economy is not just to satisfy the oil company donors, but also to serve the interests of The Rump's buddy Vladimir Putin. Vlad will be very happy to deal with a much weaker US in the future. One question: do you see a recession or depression starting within the next year? I am thinking the answer is Yes, so am divesting from most stocks and reducing my expenses to help me ride out the economic storm for 2 - 4 years.

Thank you so much for this conversation. I learned so much from your conversation with the brilliant Heather Boushey! This bill is both stupid and barbarous.

What about the mom’s affected by anti-abortion laws? They will need more health care and so will their child. How can the same lawmakers that want to eradicate abortion also want eradicate healthcare? It’s so illogical and the numbers just don’t make sense.

We are already at a fragile state for our rural areas even with these hospitals. Many right now have to hire contract specialists who come in for 2 weekday stints so people have some access . So, these hospitals are closed, people will have to travel hours and hours. Not even mentioning the people who will lose their jobs and the hit to rural economies. Sarah Palin's "death panels" now seem quaint next to what this regime is doing.

Wow! I got to this late, but I'm wondering if maybe we (your subscribers) have learned more from Heather Boushey about the bill than the Congresspeople know. Because if they did know, they surely wouldn't be doing their best to add nasty tweaks and rush this through. Just so Trump can have a big show of signing it on the 4th of July! Thank you, Jess, for bringing us this conversation.
