Hi, all.
Sorry for the two emails in one day but I omitted the name of the artist who drew the cartoon at the top of this morning’s email. It was Barry Blitt for the New Yorker (the whole set of drawings is great—check them out!) Thank you to the reader—another New Yorker cartoonist—who rightfully called me out for not crediting him. I’m married to an artist, too! I should know better!
I’ve added the credit to the web version of the email, but unfortunately it can’t be added to the emails you’ve already received.
Anyway. Apologies to Mr. Blitt. It won’t happen again!
Have a great Sunday, all.
Jess
Yours is a heart of GOLD, Jess!!
Barry Blitt is my current favorite cartoonist. Truly, his pictures are worth a thousand words. Just the sense of humor we need in these trying times. Also nice to note that the lectern depicted was the one used in Saturday Night Live skits and it was designed and produced by my neighbor when I lived in Pennsylvania, Monkey Boy Productions. https://www.monkeyboysproductions.com Another source of the humor we need these days. Thank you Jessica Craven and Barry Blitt and MBP for the laugh(s)!
