Any vote for Jim Jordan is an attack on democracy. He was the chief enabler to the ex-president's attempt to overturn a duly democratically elected president.

Atta girl, acknowledging and correcting an error so quickly.

I don't think The New York Times has apologized for the photo accompanying the headline about the "hospital bombing" showing a bombed-out building that was apparently not THE hospital. Reports at this time, by the way, as you probably know, point to it being a misfired Jihadist rocket that exploded in the hospital's parking lot. The headline (from 17 hours ago) still says that the blast killed hundreds, though the casualty numbers have not been reliably verified, but at least the incorrect photo has been removed, without apology for the misinformation. We must be oh, so vigilant, even with sources we deem reliable.

I urge anyone with a Republican Representative to call their office. Thank them if you know they voted for someone else, voice your disapproval if they voted for Jim Jordan. Please. Call now.

Thanks for this info. And it is a bit of a comfort to see that his bullying tactics actually lost him votes.

That is excellent news! May this be the start of a new trend!

Thank you Jessica. This made is much easier for me to call my unrepresentative Brandon Williams (NY-22) to register my continued complete disgust in his vote to put insurrectionist Gym Jordan in the Speaker position. He is supposedly one of the 18 "vulnerable" unrepresentatives set to lose his seat in 2024, but he doesn't seem to realize that at all. He was brought to us by a very late change in the composition of our district, along with a lot of money from his wealthy friends in Texas.

Yes I think he made a very bad miscalculation here. Hope you call him out for it.
