Last night 12 of us hosted 100 women and we wrote 1000 postcards for Kamala! The recipients were women in our county who were registered Independent or Democrat who rarely vote. We had our former state representative Ashton Clemmons speak to the group and everyone was so fired up!!!
Our 12 member postcard team just finished the 3rd of a 4-part campaign for Gabe Vasquez, CD2 NM. Gabe is running against Yvette Herrel, a cult person.
Tomorrow 3 of us are canvassing in our small Cochiti Lake town and neighboring Pena Blanca, NM. It’s a first time out for me and I’m ready thanks to ECM and her Truth or Fiction and Say It Now classes. Vote Early and Blue!
Tight. Both campaigns are ramping up tv ads. Getting more difficult to listen to her use of out of context lies. BlueCD2 PAC was a driving force behind his getting elected 2 years ago. Pretty remarkable group. A shout out to the 2 women who founded it, as well as, all the volunteers who support the work.
I've got 20 postcards for WI to complete and some phone banking with VoPro Pros and the DCCC. You GO Jessica. If I were in LA I'd canvas CA-27 with you. Gotta flip Garcia out!!
Hi. I’ll be writing 25 postcards for Northeast Arizona Native Democrats, 30 for Postcards to Voters, 30 for Win the House through Hopium, and finishing up my 100 for Swing States. Yahoo!
Sky--thank you! Here in AZ, the Native voters are SO important. You just motivated me to go back on there and get more addresses for another of their campaigns!!!!
My post carding group meets every Saturday and we send out an average of 200 to 250 postcards a week - currently we are working with Field team 6 and mailing out to Pennsylvania get out the vote. I also Text daily with Field team six and phone bank at least once a week.
I signed up for 50 too. It's a bit different from Vote Forward. The template includes instructions, so I think I'm supposed to copy the template to my own document before adding my personal message and printing it.
Sorry, I can't help with the dashboard. We are an intrepid band of writers here in MA that have been writing for them all summer. I just pick up and drop off bundles of letters every other week. What you do is amazing; thanks for the inspiration!
I just want to Thank you for the wonderful job you’re doing there isn’t a day I read your page that I learn something new and its important stuff I need to know. Your dedication to this is awesome to say the least. I was wondering that after the election if you plan to still continue in political action I don’t know if it’s possible but letting us know what bills are up in the house federal and state would probably be a full time job I have on several occasions tried to break the code on what’s going on in my own state of Pennsylvania. I know about people who lobby bills usually the rich yet I think that something new must be created to bring We the people information. I’m leaving it up to you to figure it out and I will help you on any level I can. Thank you again for your super strong spirit!
Oh I've been writing this newsletter since 2016 I have no intention of stopping. And yes, as we get out of this election cycle I'll spend more time on bills and much less on elections!
Today is my 70th birthday my kids gifted me your subscription for as long i live. I have to say that it amazes me of grassroots politics it was your title Chop wood,Carry Water that grabbed my attention heard that phrase from my parents and grandparents since I’ve been a child it’s a term that should never ever be forgotten
Broke my arm three weeks ago but I'm finally recovered enough to get back into the phone banking game today, to Montana Dems who may not realize their voter registration is now inactive. Will grab some more postcards to do for Saturday afternoon - it's not like I'm playing volleyball or swimming or anything else involving arms for a while...
Friday: I'm writing my weekly eBlast for Swing Left San Gabriel Valley. I'm writing 10 postcards.
Saturday: I'm hosting a GOTV postcarding party and writing 25 GOTV postcards.
