Hi Jessica and whoever else can help me out! I called my senators about the Manchin deal but I am wondering the likelihood that the continuing resolution will pass with it included??
My name is Staci (they/them) from Norman, OK. My partner is Shawn (they/he) from Arlington, TX. We both are wildly inspired by Jessica to take small actions every day to help save our democracy. We’ve learned that Postcarding is such a rewarding and fun way to participate socially in a way that works for folks on the Autism Spectrum! We recently wrote 119 postcards in two days. And loved every minute of it! Their grandma helped us pay for postage and the ‘Arlington Texas Area Democratic Women’ Group provided us with the postcards. We want to challenge ourselves to do more! We’ve set a goal for ourselves of 1,000 postcards in one week. And I truly believe we can do it! We could use your help with funds for stamps. If you’d like to contribute, please email me at staciledwards@gmail.com to chat about details. Thank you so much! So happy and thankful to be apart of this community that Jessica has brought together. :)
Hello All! I'm a little late to the request-for-postage campaign, but we are in dire need of postcard stamps for the 10,000 cards that our volunteers are writing for Christy Smith to take back the House. We're the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats, of CA-27, fighting hard against Mike Garcia, the republican incumbent. He's voted against everything, including codifying Roe V Wade, the Voting Rights Act, keeping birth control legal, gay marriage, upholding the election, etc. etc. We need Christy in office; she only lost by 333 votes last time! If anyone can help, please donate to our link here:
Hi! I could use help with stamps! Have written cards for Postcards to Swing States and will soon be doing cards for Democracy for America. Bought the first 200 myself but could use help with the 400 some odd I will need for the next batch! I thank you SO much in advance! God Bless You!
Reclaim Our Vote is another source for getting out the vote.
CenterforCommonGround.org/postcards. It is non-partisan, and involves sending handwritten postcards to registered voters in the South, who don’t consistently vote. They supply the postcards and instructions.
If you live in the Bay Area and want to write postcards, you can buy them via email to postcardingkits@gmail.com. They cost $5 for 100 cards. You do have to pick them up in person in El Cerrito, but it's worth it! These are high quality cards with good, non-partisan graphics, though there is VERY fine print that they are produced in California, if that matters. You can see them here https://bit.ly/postcard100packs. I recommend Options 3 and 5 as they have space for the stamp and address on one side and are completely blank on the other.
Thanks for the shout-out Jessica!!💙🌊

Jessica, I like your stuff. You need a grammar proofreader! "Here's me and her" !! How about "Here she and I are"
