I wrote my 100 Moms Rising postcards to Arizona yesterday. I have now written 800 postcards and mailed about half of them. Waiting till mid-October to mail the rest.
Down with Covid (dammit) so I can't do the doorknocking with Idaho Dems (yes, we exist! And we make a difference!) this weekend as I'd planned. But still writing postcards and nagging my Congressman :-)
- Helped the organization I volunteer with (Central Valley Matters) and sent a thank you email to donors for helping us raise $170k at our last event with Dolores Huerta and Julian Castro!
- Finished up 10 postcards to the Central Valley to encourage voters to vote for Kamala Harris for Prez & Rudy Salas for the House
- Started on another 20 Vote Forward letters to North Carolina voters
- This week was also the week I got around to some more strategic donations and I distributed some funds to John Tester's & Sherrod Brown's campaigns, the DSCC, the Movement Voter Project, and The Pennsylvania Democratic Party
- Shared a few posts on social media about voting early, Project 2025, and encouraging others to do something over the next 47 days to elect Kamala/Walz.
Thanks for encouraging us to share our actions - typing that all up makes me feel pretty good!
Had seven neighbors over last night to write Blue Wave Movement postcards to PA. Finished up a batch of 300.
Will write some Vote Forward letters this weekend and make some donations (Tester, Brown, Rosen, Gallego, Alsobrooks, Slotkin) and to a few Gouse races.
Having dinner tonight with 19-yr-old grandson to gently persuade him that yes, his vote does matter! 😉🌊
Canvassed yesterday and tomorrow for KY state legislature candidates! On Sunday we are knocking doors of a large apartment complex to provide voter education/early voting location and to make sure folks are registered to vote/have updated their registrations. Met today with our CitizensAgainstProject2025 crew & finalized plans for additional videos & memes to add to our FB page. Immigration and Reproductive Healthcare are such vital topics right now due to the MAGA attacks. One of our volunteer leaders at LouDemsVolunteers updated the hashtag to #DoSomethingMore

Thanks for the inspiration, Jessica. This weekend I'll be phonebanking for Angela Alsobrooks; texting likely Dems in PA with Field Team 6; and writing postcards to voters in MD, NC, and OH.
I just got off one of the DNC Voter Protection phonebanks, thank you so much for posting that! It was really great, the training was so clear and the calls are so much easier than persuasion! I only had time to call for about 30 minutes and I helped two people check their registration! Tonight I'll be writing letters and postcards again for Winning the House, NEAZ Native Dems, Vote Forward and Working America (well not all tonight but over the next week). Tomorrow I'm helping at a high school voter registration drive where my husband works! (They're a boarding school so class on Saturdays).
Yes. At about 4pm east coast time, we got the “contacted 918 voters” so I think we did get through that list. Lots more to go and they’re asking for more folks to call!
Writing 100 post cards to Ohio and sent in non partisan bracelets and Kristy Kreme donuts into my son’s largely staffed school encouraging faculty and staff “Donut forget to vote” with a tag on the bracelets to vote.gov. Putting out 25 Alsobrooks signs around where I live and door knocking and will attend her event on Monday.
Participating in a postcard zoom party with my college alums tomorrow. I will be working on postcards for candidate, Laura Judge, running for School Board Post 5 in Cobb County GA.
Working through my stack of 200 GOTV postcards to PA voters scheduled to be mailed 10/26.
Made another round of donations to specific candidates for Congress, the US Senate, NC state races, and the NC, Nebraska, and Wisconsin Dem parties.

I think so? We all started getting an error on STW and they thought they might have finished but I had to drop off at that point.
