Hi, all, and happy Wednesday! First, I want to apologize to anyone who showed up at my Grassroots Dems HQ phonebank yesterday. I blew it in a colossal manner—just totally forgot to be there! I’ve never done that on a phonebank I was running, and I was absolutely mortified when I realized my error.

Democrats have had a good month of special elections (really a good year of special elections). Last night, Hal Rafter in NH, Lindsay Powell in PA. Last week, Sam Berger won a special election in Queens, NY in a district that Lee Zeldin won by 12 in 2022. When we organize and focus, we win!
So many of you posting on substack that share your knowledge of history, politics, the legal system, current events, the truth, and ways that we can make a difference, it’s just invaluable. So we depend on all of you for information, but you know, sometimes you just gotta take care of the rats! Not to mention yourself. Best wishes for finding a solution to this problem.
i, too,am Plagued (pun intended) by rats. The rats are on my property; living underground! My greyhound (galgo/a rescue from Spain,) and my 14 year old Chihuahua mix do kill some. But alas; the rats are very good at reproduction. the babies are called "pups!"
