The win for Kamala tonight will not be humiliating The Pervert she'll be on stage with.
Although it would nice to see him humiliated, the win is to convince on - the - fence voters in 7 swing states, who can't trust The Pervert to govern, that they can trust Kamala. 50,000 voters across 7 states would cement her/our victory. Go Kamala. We need you to Win.✌️✌️
It is already Wednesday evening and I know how well Kamala performed. Do wish to remind voters that the Jan 6th mob was chanting "Hand Mike Pence" and that as a Vice President, that had a special resonance for her. That day is his worst crime, was witnessed by many voters but missed by many who should be reminded of what the then President did and did not do, as Kamala laid out well.
Whatever happens tonight--it won't be a 'debate'--we need to be clear about that.
Today, I spent 5 hours on a college campus--there was a bit welcome back day and so everyone was out. We registered new voters and so many people stopped to check their voting status. And they give me hope that no matter what happens tonight, there are some really incredible people just waiting to support democracy and make sure we continue to go forward.
This is so exciting! I see Kamala in the light, her true heart and wise mind and experienced self shining forth so there's no doubt who will serve our democracy best as president. Go. Kamala!
Jessica, I know you don't have time for reading now, but when you do I think you will love this book:
The Woman They Could not Silence, by Kate More. It's the riveting, page-turning story of Elizabeth Packed whose activism on behalf of women sent to asylums because they dared to think for themselves made me think of an 1860 Heather Booth.

“I did, though, want to take one moment to remind you, amidst the noise of so much else, that no matter what happens tonight:
You are strong; together we are unbeatable.
You are smart; together we are brilliant.
You are determined; together we are unstoppable.
We. Are. Greater. Than. The. Sum. Of. Our. Parts.
Never forget it.“
Jess, you are a magnificent human being. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY! ❤️☮️🗳️☮️❤️
If you’re on social media, Scott Dworkin encourages using the hashtag #KamalaUnitesUS
“We just launched the hashtag #KamalaUnitesUS on multiple social media platforms. This will ensure that the debate conversation online will focus on the positives—like how Kamala’s campaign of infectious joy unites all of us. We’ll be reminding folks that Harris will work for every American, no matter who you are.” https://open.substack.com/pub/dworkin/p/our-plan-to-beat-pro-trump-debate?r=fqsxl&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
I like that very much. Thank you.

Are you kidding? I just finished all 4 Lyndon Johnson bios! There is never a time when I don't read. I will add it to the list!
