As to the power of state judges and state democracies, my daughter is a law professor at uW at Madison. She and her husband have started the State Democracy initiative. They put on meaningful programs about all this. You might find it interesting.

Sums it up perfectly “The collapse of the GOP into this diminished yet exceedingly dangerous form is chilling and disheartening”

I am still astounded that they can get away with forcing rape victims to have their rapists babies, call climate change a hoax and consider pumping more co2 in the atmosphere and oceans as a positive and support someone who tried to overturn the last election and support dismantling voting rights. And the media doesn’t ever acknowledge their extremism.

Yeah. It's mindblowing.

Jess- have become a big fan of Simon Rosenberg and Hopium- and he talks about being "information warriors" which I really want to be but have no media presence (facebook/instagram) is there a group that will 'show us the way' out there? especially for less tech savvy and wary folks? thanks -as always...

I have made a pact with myself not to watch any more Republican baloney period. If I’m ever tempted to take a look, I’ll grab another stack of postcards and work to vote these creeps out.

The judicial advice from Cathleen D is "right on".

Be wary of the "vigor of the righteous". It is that same "righteousness" that fuels the antiabortion and pro abortion forces and keeps them from putting all that energy into PUP, Prevent Unintended Pregnancies. Intended pregnancies are rarely intentionally aborted

There is more harm done by self righteous indignation than by all the meanness ever born. Why? We are all likely to slip into self righteous indignation; only a few of us were born mean.

I don't know who else to scream to but why is MSNBC giving all this attention to Trump tonight just because they hope to get a Mug shot...it's sickening. Five minutes would be enough. If I knew how to get in touch with those who made this programming decision I would go directly to them.

Just saw his mug shot....then cleansed my eyeballs with a bit of Visine. However, surely these young pundits have other things to discuss other then reiterating all the obvious.

Hey Jess! We signed 12 more today at a private smaller college I think for the week thus far for one team that is 40 voters. Definitely encouraging! And another 85 fridge cards. We had 6 students sign volunteer sheet. We spoke with staff and faculty and they were so glad we were there signing these young people. I mean it feels so good to help empower the young vote! Thanks for ALL Your hard work and constant encouragement. It is So Nice To write you and know I can put a smile on your face! Hug from NC.

B if you email me at hijesscraven101@gmail.com with a sentence or two description of how many young voters in total you registered this week and where I would love to put it into Extra Extra this Sunday! This is exactly the kind of good news we need more of!
