Hi, all, and happy Monday! Hope those of you in Southern California weathered the storm (and accompanying earthquake) OK. We got a good amount of rain here—over three inches—but nothing catastrophic. I know the same wasn’t true for everyone, so if you’re dealing with the fallout today please know that we’re thinking of you.
Glad you are all safe in your area of LA. It looks like Riverside and San Bernardino Counties got the worst of the storm-positive energy to all in the Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage areas.
And, your recommendation for accessing the NASA website is BRILLIANT!! I will now be receiving info from them on a regular basis and will pass it on to others, especially my couple of acquaintances who are completely in denial. Thanks, again!!

Honestly, you're the one who's amazing, Jess!! I don't think I'd be keeping my head up as much if it weren't for your encouraging words, especially your spectacular recaps of the week every Sunday, and for my ability to send messages via Resistbot to my congresspeople and even President Biden. Phoning makes me anxious and I have done and will do postcard writing, especially in 2024. But Resistbot is always irresistible (sorry!) at all times!! Thank you so much everyday for everything!!
CBS Mornings had a great story Monday morning about a judge in Texas who "puts military veterans on a path of rehabilitation." I thought you might like to include it in one of your Extra! Extra! letters. The video is a little over five minutes. Very uplifting!
Question about ResistBot. When I have time and access to a real computer I try to manually personalize the ResistBot letter so it appears a little more original/unique. Does that help at all, or is it just as good to do the quick sign? Thanks.
Yes! I always recommend personalizing whenever possible. I didn't use to even include the quick send link but people liked it so I do. Copying, pasting, and personalizing is always better, though.
