I'm a member and praise your work (and your trip to Nova Scotia!). But we readers need help.
1. what and why to call repeatedly our reps if they are as blue as is possible...gets old
2. Demcast sharing to FB or social media choices....not clear when I went to the website what to pick or how. I finally donated directly to the AZ Atty General race instead on his own website.
3. Blue Tent. I joined but I am not sure what that means I am getting that I don't already get from you.
First of all, thanks for question number one. I've received a variation on it many times in the past, so have finally added it to my new (and just beginning) FAQs doc. See my answer there. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Yug2slxUsuKNduC7uLF4u4VbOrh56CbPg_rzzNhTpfA/edit. As for the Demcast page, literally pick any of them or, if that's too overwhelming, wait til I post one to amplify (as I did today) and pick that. Finally, Blue Tent does a super deep dive on which organizations and candidates are the best to give money to, and why. Their essays are quite educational and will teach you a lot about the political process, how dollars get used, and why donating to big orgs like the DNC isn't generally the best practice. If you are someone who donates money for political purposes I think you'll find it worthwhile. If you aren't you can probably unsubscribe. Hope all of this helps!
