Ah! It's a saying my dad taught me when I was going through a particularly tough emotional period in my 30's. I know that it's originally a Buddhist saying, but he told it to me more as a way to get through tough times by focussing o small actions we can take in the day we're in. It became a mantra I used whenever I felt a sense of hopelessness, and it turned out to work very well. So when Trump was elected I immediately thought of it. This newsletter grew out of a desire to help myself--and friends and family--find little ways to keep busy, or chop wood and carry water, so we could stay sane AND prevail through the tough years I knew were to come. Thus far it's worked in more ways than one! Hope that helps!
I have Cigna for Medicare supplemental so that hopefully will carry some weight reminding them I could switch companies if they support the anti-abortion & anti- womens rights!
Gotta ask, from where did the title of your newsletter come?

Makes perfect sense!
