Hi, all, and happy Wednesday. Oof. There’s so much going on—every time I think the news cycle can’t get any crazier it goes ahead and does just that. Let’s remember to all take our breaks—I’ll be doing so next week (for the most part); but all of us should make sure we’re getting some down time from this constant barrage of insanity.
Just dropped off another batch of Vote Forward letters for Ohio. Also at lunch yesterday a coworker brought asked the group what they thought of No Labels. No one had much of an opinion so I politely told them they’re a Republican funded spoiler group operating in bad faith and explained why. It was only 4 people but every person counts.
I lived near Ellsworth Air Force Base (SD) for years. End of the month black smoke covered the area. The fuel that was not used during the month was burned so the next months funding and allocation was not jeopardized (reduced). How do we find out if this still is a practice and stop that waste?
Think article was in WAPO about Phoenix office of Heat Control; Phoenix is applying an expensive reflective sealant to asphalt roads and lowering the surface temperature from 154 to 130. MAYBE they could try covering the roads with Solar panels; not perfect for electrical production, BUT close to customers and create shade AND slope so rain is collected in cisterns for watering/cooling onto absorptive grass and dirt on days when it is not raining.
That's an automatic dialer--makes it faster and easier to reach people and your number doesn't come up on their caller IDs. Just all around a much better way to make calls.
All of my FERC emails bounced back- I submitted an e comment. They needed a docket number. I googled it quickly and found CP22-2-000… anyone know if that is correct?
Oh gosh I'm so sorry about that! I thought those addresses were right--I got them from the organization's toolkit. Let me go back and look again. Weirdly no one else said they bounced but maybe I just haven't gotten to those emails yet.

Ugh that's so awful. I don't know. I'll keep an ear out.

Thank you!
What are "dialer" calls? TY.

Bounced is the wrong word, I got emails back that said we don’t take comments via email, please submit an e comment on the site.
So I’m sure they saw them, but they needed the comments formally submitted? I’m not sure so I did both 😊
update- this is an email I just got:
