Oh my, I just read about the new mergers and acquisitions rules and made on comment on the government website about reforms. I feel like I did my homework today. Now I just have to write the postcards I have left re: Ohio and I can read my novel as a reward. I also forwarded Chop Wood to friend of mine I talked to who was interested. Please help remove "finish the job" from our wishes for President Biden's reelection in 2024. The job of the presidency is hopefully never finished in a democracy. We fully expect another president to be elected in 2028. We hope never to vote for "the last election" as has been done too often, e.g. Hitler becoming chancellor of Germany, l933,
Swing Blue Alliance (https://swingbluealliance.org) and Ohio Democratic County Chairs Association are working on an ad to place in several local papers. It is fantastic. The theme is "Don't rig the game" and the message, comparing the ballot initiative on August 8 requiring a super majority to pass future ballot measures to a football game, is "Ohio State 59, Michigan 41. Michigan Wins." Brilliant. Should motivate at least some Buckeye fans to vote NO on August 8.
I phonebanked for Vote No Ohio DP last Thursday. It was a good experience. They train you on first half and it is easy to learn. HIGHLY recommend for first timers. U need a laptop and a phone that you use to call into a robo-dialer, so your ID is anonymous. Even just sign in to train and learn process til you are comfortable.
