I finally found out about the Women's Summit. I will be there Friday for the Postcard Palooza display with my group from Markers for Democracy. I won't be there Saturday, in part for finances and in part because I just adopted a kitty this week. Will you be there on Friday? I hope!!
Actually Miss Kitty is 10, and her "mom" passed this March. The family can't take her, and I am the only one who answered the posting. The adoption has been about a month in the making and she arrived her Monday afternoon. We're getting to know one another (she rubbed against my leg, while hissing (!) after nearly 11 hours of sleep when she first arrived. Today she rubbed w/o hissing! She hides in the day and comes out about 5 pm so far. I don't want to be gone for a day and 1/2. It's too soon!
