Hi, all, and happy Wednesday. Perhaps I’m an optimist, but yesterday’s hearings felt like a turning point to me. Could it be that more Americans are waking up to the ethical morass Trump created around himself, as well as the danger we’re in? Shaye Moss’s testimony was SO POWERFUL—her mother’s, too. The outrage it elicited in everyone I know who watched the hearings was palpable and intense.
Day 2 of my CWCW Experiment. I called both of my Senators (second time today) on the gun bill and PUMP; I invoked ResistBot to harass Pres. Biden about O'ahu and Red Hill; and I registered my interest in working as a poll worker. Poll worker volunteer system is a bit squirrelly in Connecticut, so I might actually have signed up for general volunteer activities, but that's okay too.
I have prior commitments for late afternoon Thursday, so I won't make either of the events noted in today's newsletter. More anon.
