I invite you all to educate yourselves on why we need the US Senate to let Voting Rights get to the floor of the Senate.

Chief Justice Roberts said if the Congress doesn't exercise its power under the elections clause (1.4) of the Constitution, the Supreme Court won't interfere in the Sovereignty of the separate States when Congress hasn't acted ( Just one example of many: Partisan Gerrymandering : its ok to select jurisdictions so they retain their minority power in States: (Rucho v Common Cause)) And there is more to come this month when the Supreme Court next rules on Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

As Justice Kagan observed, Chief Justice Roberts ignores the US Constitution's 1st, 14th and 15th Amendments. He only looks at Article 1.4: The Elections Clause: "The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations"

See www.nationalvotercorps.org and click on The Rise and Fall of the Voting Rights Act .

Then, please sign the National Voter Corps' petition to the US Senate to suspend the filibuster for Voting Rights so that the Freedom to Vote: John R Lewis bill gets to the floor and debated, and then voted on to protect all our right to vote and the integrity of voting itself.

I didn't share it with anyone. Substack seems to be doing a thing where they are automatically signing people up for newsletters on my recommended list unless the subscribers uncheck a box when they first sign up. I'm so sorry. It's a terrible feature and I've begged them to get rid of it. In the meantime you can simply hit unsubscribe at the bottom of those emails. Again, sorry about this feature. I would never share my subscribers' info with anyone.

I believe Jessica would never violate our trust by doing such a thing. Otherwise I wouldn't still be here as a subscriber.
