Good reminder to balance self-care with saving our world. It won’t help if we fall apart.

Can' thank you enough, Jessica, for all you do and for encouraging me to do more.

Signed up for 500 postcards, told my book club and they're all in to help me. Signed several petitions and donated some $$. You're right. It works. I'm in fighting mode again.

You make taking action easy. Thank you. Also, thanks for hosting an awesome event with Airflift yesterday. The Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT) speakers were so inspiring, passionate and engaged. Terrific program.

Biden has pulled a lot of rabbits out of a lot of hats when things looked very dark, so who knows what will happen with Middle East peace. I know it's way easier to write an article saying it won't work than trying to solve the problem.

Hi Jess,

I figured out a way to incorporate "A Better World is Possible" into a series of ceramics. I'm going to try sending you pics via your email. Thank you for helping us all keep our perspective and spirits up.

LIES are boundless in a democratic republic; a republic such as America’s which guarantees Freedom of Speech.

To counter and buffer boundless lies, the Founders believed in and supported FREE public education. They knew well from firsthand experiences that freedom, democracy and their new republic depended solely upon free education, educated citizens and educated voters.

Today, public education in America at all grade level is not free. Look at the results.

Corporate right-wing power grows richer from poorly educated consumers who believe in corporate lies.

America’s right-wing conspirators are elected by poorly educated voters who believe in their lies and Trump’s lies.

The first lie I remember encountering as a youngster in public elementary school was the “Civil War”.

After graduating from elementary school, junior high, high school, university, graduate school, and 14-years of teaching at a public state college in Virginia, I learned it wasn’t a ‘civil’ war at all.

I learned it was a deadly war between those who believed in freedom and those who didn’t. I learned it was America’s “War Against Slavery”.

Don’t panic. Educate. Organize.

Make a plan to vote EARLY in your primary elections which begin Monday all across America.

Then, make a plan to vote EARLY in November’s general elections.

America’s democratic republic is on all our primary and general election ballots.

Liberals, Dems, and Independents better start PRACTICING NOW at holding their noses and voting for Biden-Harris.

Do NOT check-out.

Libs, Dems and all who oppose this insane defendant who tried to overthrow our votes in the 2020 election...

...MUST be as committed to Biden-Harris in November as Trump’s MAGAs are committed to him.

If you aren’t, and you don’t vote in November…

…then America’s democratic republic is over and done. It’s that simple.

Our future is in our VOTES.

Jessica your voice is so important! You are absolutely right in saying that the best antidote to the simmering anxiety we carry is action! I have been writing postcards to voters for weeks now. Each time I begin to feel anxious, i request more addresses. There is nothing like writing 50 postcards for a candidate and then seeing them win their election!! It is so empowering!

Over 300,000 active military personnel and their family members now live in states where abortion is banned. That includes thousands now in Florida.

Military families serve where they are sent, where the military needs them.

Many don't know they can vote or don't know how.

Here's what you can do: Bookmark fvap.gov -

That's where active duty military and their family members who are away from their voting home can register AND request their absentee ballots. (Over 70 percent of people serve away from their home state and have to vote this way)

They can do it NOW, wherever they are.

Please share that site with your cousin in the Coast Guard or your friend in the Air Force. They may not know unless you tell them!

Who in our gang might successfully send this message to a college/university administrator or a government official in a position to execute such instead of police sweeps, recognizing that there are some agitators that are only agitators and need to be in jail, like Bibi Netanyahu in an Israeli jail. I have tried to get through to UNC but have not heard back yet. Love, Doc

The Columbia President has resorted to asking police to arrest protestors as she tries to return some semblance of order to her campus. Please. Let's turn this gathering into the largest history class in the world. Surely with what can be done to Times Square the talent exists to create a giant map with mobile boundaries from Egypt to Turkey to Iran to Saudi Arabia and teach history. Start with 1948 and President Truman recognizing the State of Israel, the shame of rampant antisemitism in the US at the time (I am old enough to remember it). Add the advice of Sec. of State George C. Marshall NOT to recognize Israel. This is "Marshall Plan" Marshall and he resigned as Sec of State in Protest.

Invite lecturers for maximum 5 year segments from that moment forward to the present catastrophe in Gaza. Invite lecturers for back from that moment to Abraham and Sarah and Hagar and Isaac and Ishmael. Invite "protestors" back to campus lectures, each to have a comment section. There will be a test at the end of however many days/weeks required to cover the 67 years forward and the centuries back. One of the questions on the test will be a 500 word essay outlining a practical way out of the present conflict that brings peace and prosperity to the area. I would put everyone to work digging a big ditch from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea and change the geography/climate.

Persons earning a B on the test can use that as a pass allowing them to protest any where in the outside "quad" area. They will also receive a semester credit 3 hours in History. And a badge for Civil Behavior. Columbia and her President will receive "That's what Universities are for" from educated and/or civil persons everywhere. This could be electronically replicated on all the campus protest sites.

www. dykers.com see "Every War Is An UnCivil War" amazon kindle/paperback; contains a practical blueprint for establishing a State Of Palestine; also for an end to Putin's War.
