I just tried to use your links to the emails of the two Walgreen's execs. They have blocked using your link (maybe others) but I found that I could just type in their email address and send with no problem.

They need to hear from us -- don't give up -- there's a way around to email!

I just called Walgreens corporate and was able to speak to a human being in their customer relations department. I registered my complaint about their stand on the abortion medication, and told them I would continue to be a customer for a while until they had a chance to reverse their decision. After that, I will transfer my business and my prescriptions to another pharmacy. She was very pleasant and said she would get that information to the appropriate person. Now let’s see.

Thank you again for all your tireless efforts. You are appreciated. Are there centralized groups behind the spate of anti-LGBTQI and anti-women bills? Seems like there were so many just this past week. The criminalization of abortion is terrifying. Are there ways to go further "up river" to find the funding sources, the individuals responsible?

Great opening. Thanks for reminding us that we do indeed stand on the shoulders of giants. I had a similar feeling when I went to see the musical, "Suffs," at the Public Theater last year and learned of the multi-decade fight for women's suffrage (which was not really won until the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and which we are still fighting for today). We've been at this for a few years so while it can be exhausting, we need to persist. Unrelated but for folks interested in NYC politics, Markers For Democracy, Downtown Nasty Women and Team Min are hosting a great speaker on Friday at 10 am ET, Michael Lange. He wrote this great Substack recently about the "Seven Factions of New York City Politics." https://open.substack.com/pub/michaellange/p/the-seven-factions-of-new-york-city?r=bjiv&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web Here is the Mobilize to sign up if interested. https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/553959/?referring_vol=36135&rname=Ellen&share_context=event_details&share_medium=copy_link&timeslot=3865108

Hello Jess...here's a little heads up

from Medicare. I just received a letter from Director Chavez-Lopez,

informing me I will receive an important survey via mail, concerning care improvements and

and "Medicare coverage options".

I believe this is most likely in response to my contact with M

/Care from your early March post.

I, too, sent the emails to Walgreens. But was hung-up on trying to call. Tried twice. Not really surprised!
