Hi, all, and happy Friday! Also, happy Trans Visibility Day! This is a big day in my house. If it is in yours, too, I see you and I appreciate you. For the rest of you, here are some ways to celebrate this very important day. Finally, happy indictment week! My goodness. There’s no denying that seeing “Teflon Don” begin to face legal consequences is deeply satisfying for those of us who’ve been waiting, seemingly forever, for it.
Keep in mind legal cases take forever. I grew up in/escaped a Trumplike family (bribing officials, lawsuits, defamation, stolen inheritances, and even a probable murder) -- and yes, there is even a movie about part of it -- and none of it takes 47 minutes plus commercials to get through. I hope what we'll take from First Indictment Day is that it takes a long time, but every moment of the work to get there is part of getting justice. So that said, stay the course. To twist a phrase, all it takes for evil to exist is for good people to yammer at people who are getting death threats in the process of bringing bad people to justice. Keep up the good work, everyone. Justice is grindin'!
Thanks for these helpful activist ways to make a difference! I was canvassing for Janet Protasiewicz last weekend and will be doing more. Many of us have been sending postcards for our critical Wisconsin Supreme Court race. thanks for all your excellent suggestions!
Thanks for all you do and for making it easy to be active politically.
Of course! Thanks for being part of the team, Pauline!
Thank you, Jess. Have a good weekend.
You too!
