I read Farmer's book when it was first published. To say it was inspirational, is such an understatement. He asked us to question normal structures that provide obstacles to doing the right and compassionate thing. He was a wonderful and powerful human. I literally burst into tears when I heard of his death. So young. Imagine what he could have done with another 20 or 30 years...40?

Reaching out to the Senators again. You keep me on track. Thank you :)

Yeah I regret only learning of him now. We pay so little attention to people like him, and so much to the evildoers. I'll never understand why.

I read Mountains Beyond Mountains when it first came out and it was life changing and followed Paul since and devastated by the loss of someone doing so much good in the world! Now watch the Documentary Bending the Arc! He will continue to inspire! And you are one amazing motivator yourself! ♥️🙏🏼

I don't know if I can change the subject but: The people of Ukraine are fighting for their freedom to be independent. Here in America, 52 US Senators failed to fight for the voice of Americans, their right to vote by not waiving the filibuster to pass The Freedom to Vote John R Lewis Voting Rights Act. Our vote is our voice. Contact every US Senator and tell them to protect our democracy and overcome the barriers to the Right To Vote (34 regressive laws passed now in 19 states taking us back to the Jim Crow legislation before the Voting Rights Act was passed. People of color, low income and students systematically have barriers to voting imposed so that these states can ensure that their legislators stay in office . Take action or your vote may be the next to be impacted.

I agree. Voting rights have been the focus of literally hundreds of my calls to action. I have pivoted slightly on a federal level because until we win more Senate seats in November we aren't going to pass a federal voting rights law. We CAN, however, focus on winning in states in November so we can start fighting back against some of the horrible laws passed in them. That's why I did the adopt a state program. Have you signed up?

not aware of that program. I am trying to work on the nonpartisan horizon to educate every voting rights staff of Senators who need to understand Article 1.4 of the US Constitution and do their duty.
