Hi, all, and happy Tuesday! I’m listening to Simon Rosenberg as I write, so I’m going to keep this quick. If you missed this rendition of “With Democrats Things Get Better” never fear—I’ve posted a link to the video below. The biggest takeaway for me, as always, is that Democrats demonstrably do a better job at EVERY aspect of governing, but Republicans still own the messaging game. Rosenberg urges us all to become emissaries of the “good news,” and I agree, we must be. It’s the reason I added the “Spread the Word” section below. Not everything I put there, of course, is positive—I feel it’s important to not only publicize our strengths but to relentlessly highlight their weaknesses. But I’ll make sure to keep sharing lots and lots of wins. Share them everywhere!
I agree with you 100% we all need to be messengers of good news and accomplishments everyday. It would be great if you and other thought leaders could get in a room with whomever creates the messaging and all together echo the same messages. There are too many distractions and we need to narrow the messaging down to 3-4 key issues everyone agrees are top of mind for all voters.
