Hi, all, and happy Thursday! A wise person once said that “perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.” How true! As we slog through yet another week full of crises—instability in the banking system, the near-certainty of a mifepristone ban, a heartbreaking setback on climate, the ever-nearing debt-ceiling showdown—it can feel like we’re on a treadmill of calamity that just won’t slow down.
Jessica I look at some of the things you mentioned like banking collapses and the abortion legislation as an opportunity for the country to appreciate and understand the value of Joe Biden. Add the proposed automatic weapons ban and Biden is talking to those voters who care about this country and are the heartbeat of this country. Everyday somewhere people are saying “ thank Hid we have Joe Biden.
Good morning, Jess! I am using America’s amazing rail system to go to Milwaukee to canvass for the April 4th elections. Will be knocking doors all weekend!
On the topic of phone banks, what do you think about letting the WisDems and the Protasiewicz campaign direct the dials? Third party groups that can’t share information with the campaign may just contribute to the frustration felt by voters who receive multiple calls.
Perfect - just what we need to know...and do. Blessings,
