The almost comical aspect is that, if reelected, Trump will eviscerate SCOTUS exactly as Netanyahu's administration had nearly effected.

SCOTUS will be the architects of its own destruction...a fate utterly predictable, and one their hubris and hermetically sealed bubble prevents them from comprehending.

True for the press as well. They seem to be incapable of understanding that he will decimate them next time.

While I'm an ardent progressive Democrat, I never felt like this was the definitive case to disallow Trump from running for President again nationwide. At best, individual states should have the right to disqualify Trump based on his obvious guilt of insurrection, but I do not believe that one state has the right to speak for all states in this specific instance.

I'm hopeful we hear something positive from the SCOTUS ruling, but I doubt this case will result in keeping Trump off the ballot in those states that do not follow Colorado's lead. While we hope for a better case to present to SCOTUS, we can continue to repeat the obvious. "Trump is guilty of insurrection. He has no legal right to serve as President.

Yeah, I'm no lawyer so really can't say. I do know that we all long for an "easier softer way" to get Trump gone. But there is none. Just us.

WE need to give President Biden a landslide win as big as Reagan's reelection. That's the cure for Trumpism and Trump.

"...asking a company to reduce carbon pollution infringes on the freedom of all Americans." ??? Ya mean like freedom to breathe, ya dimwits? 🤬 And thank you for the "giving" program on Tuesday. I appreciate the breakdown of giving from the bottom up instead of top down. I'm $pending on po$tage and po$t¢cards, etc., and I'm getting lost in where to invest money and time most wisely. So, your presentation was grounding. Hopefully, you found it a successful experience.

I’m guessing there’s an easy answer to this but…..I’m looking for resources you gave us re Biden’s accomplishments and talking point maybe two weeks ago? Is there a list of resources somewhere, or can someone direct me to these? After seeing the press reaction to Hur’s smear on Biden, I’m feeling pugnacious. 🥊🥊

Probably better to have Trump on the ballot and to be soundly defeated in the general election.

As long as we do defeat him, and he accepts it, yes, I agree.

Thank you for encouraging words. The Colorado Supreme court was looking at whether or not Trump committed insurrection and the Supreme Court (even the more liberal justices) were only looking at whether or not he should be on the ballet. Such different questions!

It feels like we don't have a process to address insurrection. Thanks again for all that you do. Your TT videos of how to do phone banking inspire me so much. I get so scared on the phone!

A GIANT contributor to global warming: The electric companies, even my Electric Membership Coop, are treating us badly because they are our only customer. They contracted to "buy all" of the electricity I produced from solar panels and pay me their "avoided cost", the rate they had to pay for wholesale electricity, 5.25 cents per kwh. I invested $60,000 in two 25kw arrays of solar panels, one on a frame in the yard and one on a barn roof. They had an audit and decided their "avoided cost" and my payment had come down to 3.5 cents per kwh, but the change for the electricity I used went UP. BEWARE. Transitions are tricky, and we have only one buyer for the electricity we produce. You likely do too. Look CAREFULLY at being your own battery as tech is better than when I decided. Battery wearing out is concern too. Initial cost is dropping as market return drops. Pressure Utilities Commission.

Hello Team; I watched C-Span until the proceedings were over. Then the New York Times had an excellent recap of days events with selected videos. I’m inclined to reverse my earlier opinion that this would be a simple and good thing.

I was impressed actually with the concerns SCOTUS raised; especially the notion that red states could find a way to turn this into Pandora’s Box with red states like mine (SC) keeping Biden off the ballot for some manufactured reason.

It was not simple at all and voters could have written in his name or revolted in many ways. Going back to Amendment #14, it might keep him off the ballot, but would it keep him from office? We have many opportunities to keep Trump out of office down the road and must explore and consider all of them, the best of course is VOTING. On a day when I’m not so exhausted from watching the entire thing, I will for myself try to outline other avenues as you do here to achieve our goals. I remain optimistic that he will be defeated in the courts or elsewhere. Perhaps an intervention from God would be helpful, ie a fatal heart attack? I am not opposed to wishing. I’ll ask for forgiveness later. Let’s carry on.

I am slower than many of you at 76 but I’m with you in spirit and mind. Let’s push for that 🌊🌊🌊 and not despair!

I haven’t been able to find a way to get feedback to Substack, but there’s been a real problem lately with the audio download. It seems to take hours and hours and then sometimes the material is no longer current. Not just in your publication, but others as well, including Hopium.

Thank you so much for that link. I will reach out to Substack immediately. A recording would be lovely but it’s also really time-consuming and I know you have so much on your plate. I love it when authors record their words, but it feels like a selfish request.
