Jess, this biggest name company in OK ( and there are not too many, other than oil companies! ) is Hobby Lobby. And that would be a GREAT place to do a boycott. They fancy themselves as a company with religious values; well, let's see if they would back that up. Or, would they condone bullying which leads to death - of a child. I'm in!

Oh yeah. They're awful and I assume most of us already boycott them, right?

Well, I wasn't sure about everyone else, but I've never walked thru their doors, and never will. Another of the top 10 employers in the state is Univ of OK. Not sure how we could give them what for, but I'm sure you can think of something!!

I love your scripts and use them often. However, my Republican congressman has been so incredibly disappointing despite calling himself pro-Ukraine and a centrist that I recently called and told a senior staffer that I was no longer going to spend energy contacting his office, I was going to use that energy to work for his opponent.

"courts that are clearly compromised and broken beyond repair." We must all hope that they're not, or the entire Constitutional system is beyond repair. Whether we pursue Robert Hubbell's idea of expanding the Court to at least 13 Justices, or leave it at 9 and put in place enforceable ethics codes and term limits, it is every bit as important to have a functioning court/justice system as it is a working legislative branch. Without both, the Executive is a de facto dictator and we are left with the need to hope that we get decent people in the job. We already have an example of what happens when we don't.

Yeah, I regret using that turn of phrase, exactly, because they are repairable. And we WILL repair them. We have no choice.

Thanks ( I think) for the Mother Jones’ link. So surrogacy is “deplorable” (because it allows LGQBT people to form families) and “A child is always a gift and never the basis of a commercial contract.” Yet, they support adoption (US private adoption “contract” estimates 25-50k) of course, only for. non-LGQBT people. This pro-choice adoptee’s head is exploding.🤯

I have been sharing these links and encouraging younger peeps to start the conversation with their generation.

Believe them when they say they are after birth control. According to Heritage Foundation and DeSantis’ education advisor …birth control pills are evil and sex should only be for procreation. You.could.not.make.this.@#$& up !

Jess- will NC event be taped? I can’t make the 6th but would love to watch it later. Will donate either way but you generally have to sign up for it to get the taped email so I thought I would ask. Thanks for this and all you do!

Most of the Companies with HQ in OK are energy related so not easily boycotted. However, Sonic, Love’s Travel Stops and American Fidelity Insurance Have HQ in OK City as well as Hobby Lobby. A lot of us have been boycotting Hobby Lobby for years because of their stance on refusing to allow health insurance to cover birth control for employees but adding more to our ranks would be great! Thanks for what you are doing!

Oh, yeah, I think most of us have been boycotting Hobby Lobby forever, right? But I will still consider writing something up for the other companies. Thank you!
