I’m at a Los Angeles Police Commission meeting right now, having just made public comment asking the Board members to vote against re-appointing our police chief, Michael Moore. Under Moore’s tenure Los Angeles has seen a horrific number of police killings—we’re now the worst city in the country for them. It’s important that we who live here speak out about it. So here I am.

Hi Jess, you are amazing. I am worried about the sky high cost of home gas. My SoCal Gas bill was $200.00 last month and it is expected to be $300.00 this month. What can I do? Thank you, Jodee
Yeah, we were warned it was going to be a very expensive heating winter, and it is! That's why my husband and I are now keeping the heat at 64 in our house! If the bills are a hardship I would recommend contacting your utility company and seeing if you can make payment arrangements. I'm almost certain they will let you. It really is crazy!
