Unless it has changed, NE splits electoral votes by CD. Biden won 1 electoral vote there in 2020. The 2nd District could flip R to D as well. NE people, weigh in, but I think that's true. So let's back up Nebraska Dems!

Super for sure. I have a strategy percolating in my brain pan that I mentioned and got possitive feedbck on, in Joyce's letter two nights ago. I have written to a couple of environmental activist orgs that continue to ask for money to save this or that. I have asked them if, perhaps, saving our Constitution and our democracy might be a wise investment to ensure there is a government that might listen and take action on their proposals after the 2024 election. They have massive data bases of members and supporters who could be urged to reach others and use their contribution as campaign donations to effective PACs and candidates that will hopefully ensure that Trump will not win and even get control of the Congress and Senate, thus ensuring a government that will have agencies to act upon their issues.
That is the gist of it and I am working on generic letter in MS Word that can be signed and sent or added to individually. Chop Wood.. is a natural spot to get it going. Many hundreds of letters to them might get them off their behinds. As much as I love polar bears, our democtacy is much more important.
Well, I did it. I called my Representative Ashley Hinson’s (R) Iowa office about the impeachment inquiry vote. I thought I would get voicemail, but a real person answered. I used the suggested script with a few edits (like how about working on the Farm Bill that expires this year), so it was a way to stay calm and polite. Though I did say I was disappointed in her work in Congress and will be supporting her Democratic opponent Sarah Corkery. Thank you Jessica for all your work and encouragement.
