Hi, all, and happy Wednesday!

I forgot to mention this yesterday, but I’ve decided to start taking Wednesdays off from writing the newsletter. This was always meant to be a five-day-a-week endeavor, then a couple of years ago when I launched “Extra! Extra!” it grew to six days a week—it is simply more than this lone author can handle. So Wednesdays are going to become a mental health day, as well as a time to catch up on my truly daunting inbox. I hope you can understand!

I also hope you’ll consider repeating yesterday’s calls if you need an action to take. They are truly important. The Gaetz vote is today and the HR 9495 vote should be tomorrow.

A couple more things before I go (yes this is me “not doing a newsletter”):

First, here are two Indivisible events happening today and tomorrow that I wanted to flag. I’ll likely be at the second one:

1. Join Indivisible on Wednesday, November 20 at 7pm ET/4pm PT to find out how to start your own Indivisible group -- Are you interested in being part of a local network of like minded people who want to fight to protect our freedoms, families, and futures during the next Trump administration? Join us for a brief overview of Indivisible and how you can begin building a local network of action takers in your community that will be supported by a national movement. 

2. Join Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg for coffee and conversation this Thursday, November 21 at 3pm ET/12pm PT -- Join Ezra, Leah, and Indivisibles across the country for a post-election and post-guide-release Coffee Klatch. Leah and Ezra will be there to answer as many questions as possible, so be sure to register and submit yours ahead of time.

Second, I had lunch with Jason Berlin from Field Team Six yesterday. Like all of us, he’s a bit worse for wear—he may have worked harder than anyone on this election. He sorely needs a vacation. He hasn’t had one in years and can’t really afford to take one now. Jason has worked so hard to register Democrats and preserve democracy—he needs and deserves some R & R. If you can afford to contribute towards a vacation in Tulum (his dream destination) for him I’ve decided to start a Go Fund Me. It’s here. I figure we can get him there for around 4K.

Remember, good deeds are the crumbs that will lead us out of this dark forest of fascism. Please help with this one if you can.
