Hi, all, and happy Tuesday! I’m running very behind today, so I’ll make this quick. I know it’s not looking good for the House. I’m sad about it, but also philosophical. While I would very much like to have been proven right in my confidence that we’d prevail there (of course there’s still a tiny chance that we will), I can also accept this loss as tolerable when viewed next to the major advances made elsewhere. Given a choice, after all, between losing the House or the Senate, there’s no question in my mind that the former is preferable.

Last night I checked the NY Times, after Trump announced his candidacy. There were 10 articles, both news and opinion, about Trump at the top of the page. We need to mount a campaign to get the NY Times to put one and only one article about that man in the paper, and that near the back. What he wants and thrives on is publicity. Don't give it to him! Everyone agrees -- both on the right and the left -- that he is unfit to be President.
I live in California & went to our headquarters in Seaside to get postcards to fill out & mail to help Rudy Salas for congress. After the election I was checking on his district & he is in the Visalia area, but the address labels I had were for the Bakersfield area. I wrote 60 postcards for nothing!!! Dems need to get it together!!
