Exactly right - undecideds are really just voters who don't feel like they have a reason to vote and this is most true of young voters. And with polls showing the entire election wi/in the margin of error, whether we win or lose will come down to whether we ALL do the work of GOTV and making sure young voters are registered, engaged and getting to polls. For our part, my GenZ daughter and I just launched Donuts+Democracy - a super fun, super simple GOTV program on college campuses and in just one week, we have:

🗳️Partnered with 47 colleges (and counting!) in battleground states/districts and HBCUs with more being added every day!

🍩 Hosted 5 college campus events which were a huge success! (See link below for photos and stats!)

🗳️Scheduled 80+ (and counting) Donuts+Democracy events.

🍩 Raised $32K of our $40K goal and every dollar goes to 🍩!

🗳️ At $2 a donut is the most effective and least expensive GOTV strategy.

🍩 Young voters are the key to winning and have the most room for growth.

🗳️ If anyone would like to join us in supporting these amazing student organizers who are working around the clock to deliver Dem wins up and down the ballot, see link below.

Just want to share that I was wearing my Dems Make Life Better T-shirt Saturday when I stopped to buy coffee at my local coffee shop and it finally paid off! A woman tapped me on my shoulder and said I like your T-shirt. We got to talking and she said she'd given $$ but asked if there was some other way to help given the fact that she works full time. I asked if she'd ever thought of postcard writing and she said I could do that. I got her number, gathered up 40 postcards and stamps and addresses for Sherrod Brown from Tony the Democrat and texted her. She was at my door in 15 minutes. It made me smile all day.

You made a bridge for her to walk over AND you helped ENORMOUSLY by tending to the stuff that might give a newbie a reason to not follow through! Bravo!

Thanks so much for the link to the interview, Jess. One important message, articulated nicely by Alex, is one I've long held - that Pro-Choice means that a woman gets to choose what's right for herself, and allows others to choose what's right for themselves, and as VP Harris underscored, not the government deciding for everyone.

I wrote this over a year ago, and still feel the same: https://bobmorgan.substack.com/p/pro-choice-is-a-big-tent-proposition

Yes EXACTLY! No one is asking you to get an abortion if you don't want to.

And despite what the radical forced birthers say, choice implies options, one of which includes continuing a pregnancy to term.

Hi Jess,

I see you are NOT listing Progressive Turnout Project on your recommendations, and that is a GOOD thing. I signed up with them, and even spent a day canvassing with them in E. Stroudsburg, PA. But they are basically disfunctional: they do not support their canvassers when questions arise; they are a month late delivering literature; they have just limited distribution of voting lists to 3 days a week; and worst, in my view, they now routinely kick off their chat group anyone (including me) who criticizes them. That sounds like avery Republican/MAGA reaction, not a progressive one.

I won't put you on the spot to un-recommend them, but I hope people take the paragraph above as a warning, and focus their energies on some of the outstanding groups in your canvassing document, and not on PTP.

Oh are they on that doc? It's not mine--I believe it's Activate America's...sorry you had such a bad experience.

No, I haven't found them on, or linked from, your website. I just wanted to warn people away, so their effort would be more rewarding for them and for the country.

You NEVER need to say SORRY to this crowd! (No one elected me spokesperson, but I decided to go bold and say it anyway!)

You are a WONDER! 🥳

I am disturbed by PBS reporting how lies about FEMA can put lives at risk. Can't we RESISTBOD Pres Biden to hold a press conference to address this? It is serious and dangerous.

He already has done so.

I just finished watching this clip. All I can think of is the unintended consequences of self righteous zealots. How many women’s lives have to be ruined for the sake of their causes? Men are clueless, but how does Amy Comey Barrett sleep at night? I’m not letting any of these folks off the hook. I’m simply dumbfounded by people applauding ignorance and abject cruelty. Kamala Harris is so incredibly articulate.

Having written hundreds of get out the vote postcards , I spent today reading our Voter Information Guide. Whew! It was a workout and I have some more homework ahead before I cast my ballot, which I just learned is on its way. So I am on course to “walk the walk” and vote early 😊

The Blue Voter Guide is helpful with also having info on propositions and judges. I was glad the Activate America GOTV postcard script includes BlueVoterGuide.org.
