Hi, all, and happy Saturday!
I have a treat for you. This week I had the great pleasure, along with Robert Hubbell of
, of interviewing Drew Kromer, the young chair of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party in North Carolina. Those of you who’ve been reading me for awhile know that I’ve met with Drew before—it is because of my talks with him that I’ve become convinced that we’re going to win North Carolina. You’ll also know that I’ve participated in many fundraisers for the Mecklenburg Dems, and that I have a link to their donation page in my Strategic Giving document.
But now I want you to meet Drew himself. Once you’ve listened to him I think you, too, will want to make a donation to the Mecklenburg Dems, or volunteer to help them from out of state, or both! And I think you’ll feel as excited as I do about what’s happening in Mecklenburg County—and how it may help to save democracy.
Enjoy, and please share!
Our county in Oregon started a Neighborhood Leader program, we have leaders in 100s of neighborhoods. Each leader is responcible for from 25-40 neighbors they get literature and information to each Democrat. We are winning in our county, things have changed
This is so inspiring! Am a frightened, old lady who needs to be with fellow, like minded, members of my community so would love to know where some local get togethers are. Need this for my sanity! Have just finished 200 postcards to be mailed Oct. 15 and would love to do anything else within my limitations.
