Doesn’t the election of this Speaker give an opportunity to flip the seats in those districts that voted R for Congress but D for Biden? Couldn’t this actually be very good news?
AP is reporting that the Ohio Senate is posting misinformation (re the election) on their GOVERNMENT website. I've sent a quick email to the Ohio newspapers below...this should be in every Ohio paper:

I hope you all are printing last night's AP reporting by Smyth and Fernando. It is a huge story when government websites are promoting blatant misinformation. Ohio citizens need to know when their elected officials are lying using government websites and resources.

It is a snarky comment to convey that in my opinion as long as lawmakers block effective gun control laws, mass shooters are able to get their hands on them.
Here's a quote from Robert Hubbell's Today's Edition. Perhaps what he conveys says it better than I was able to:
"Johnson was elected on the day of the mass killings in Lewiston, Maine. He had nothing to say other than 'Prayer is appropriate in a time like this, that the evil can end and this senseless violence can stop.' No call for legislation. No call for background checks. No call for assault weapons bans. Nothing. His silence and inaction are complicity.
"Speaking of complicity, Johnson met last week with members of 'Women for Gun Rights,' a meeting that Johnson proudly featured on Twitter with a note that they discussed 'safeguarding our Second Amendment rights.'
"Got that? Johnson is offering to safeguard the Second Amendment but offers nothing but prayer to protect future victims from death and injury by weapons of war. He—and all Republicans—are on the wrong side of this issue."
I figured it had to be a sarcastic comment, but I just wanted to be sure. I know the homicidal maniac is still at large and I thought he might’ve actually posted something on social media. See how gullible I am? 😊

Someone, please let me know if I’m wrong, but isn’t Mark Kelly married to Gabby Giffords, the woman who was almost fatally shot in Arizona while giving a speech many years ago? And he’s a hold out for approving this gun legislation? If so, what on earth could he be thinking?
