Yep! Ignore the doom and gloom and act with vigor and hope. Just put another 80 letters in the mail to voters in Pennsylvania! There are still more to do with https://votefwd.org/

Volunteered with our community literacy network to do new citizen voter education. Have sent more than 150 information texts and offers to help. Responded when asked about where to vote, how to register. Accompanied 2 new voters to the polls yesterday and more to go.

OMG Sara this is incredible! IS this something others can volunteer to do?

I have a long history with the organization because I tutored for citizenship interviews so they trusted me with their data base. In many communities there are organizations that prep people for their citizenship interview. They may appreciate help with new voter education. Worth checking. Also helps to speak enough Spanish to give information and accompany folks for whom that’s their first language.

Here's what I wrote to the owner of the LA Times:

Putting your own interests ahead of your Editorial Board is irresponsible.

You own a newspaper. Not a personal blog.

Hire professionals, then let them do their job.

Reverse your decision to block the Board’s endorsement of Kamal Harris & Tim Walz.

Be better, do better.

P.S. — Be careful what you wish for. If Benedict Donald wins the White House, democracy dies.

Yeah I think that may have been a bad email address. I'll discuss in today's newsletter. Sorry!

Just posted the Dem Cast video on IG with the following message - it is brilliant!

Seems like in this election, the shoes on the other hand! Men, how does it feel? Suggest you stop finding reasons not to vote for Kamala Harris, and recognize the many reasons you should.

VOTE 🇺🇸 (PS share this with your 20/30 something sons please)

If you are referring to the "they are going to ban pornography video", I do not believe that will garner any extra votes for the Harris/Walz ticket. Although I'm not hip on what motivates the "bro" vote, a lot of young men who are voting for tRump are first of all uninformed about the real threat he poses to the Republic, and just how bad he was for the economy. They are more traditional in their views of gender relations, and would not be scared of banning pornography, an industry where women who are expensive prostitutes allow themselves to be raped on camera for a short term payout that lowers the bar for regular women. Trust me, any young man who has ever taken a gal home to hear her complain about some deer heads on the wall and disqualify him for doing something her Great-granddad liked to do could care less.

I'm old enough to remember when Nate Silver gave Hillary a 99% chance to win. I'm not going to pay one lick of attention to the polls. I'm going to knock on doors, attend a local GOTV rally on the town square, and phone bank for Angus. Let's do this! When we fight, we win. When we vote, we win.

EXACTLY. Thank you.

Jessica, I opened your email at the end of a long, somewhat discouraging day and saw your note that said "I love you." And what's more, offered encouragement, community, and continued affirmation of our better angels. Thank you for all of that and for your openness and good faith. You are much loved in return, along with all my fellow travelers at Chop Wood, Carry Water.

Jon Tester needs help in Montana. Check this email from his campaign out:

Hi Luke,

We’re 12 days out from Election Day, and I wanted to reach out and share an important update on our race.

Breaking reporting from NBC News just now adds to the growing list of lies about Tim Sheehy’s military record. Sheehy says he was “medically discharged” from the Navy. Records say otherwise.

NBC News: Montana Senate candidate says he was 'medically discharged' from the Navy. Records say otherwise.

Tim Sheehy has repeatedly claimed he was discharged from the military for medical reasons because of injuries he sustained on duty – but his discharge paperwork tells a different story. Sheehy’s paperwork “indicates that Sheehy voluntarily resigned his commission and does not list any medical condition that forced him out of uniform.”

The breaking news follows two bombshell reports earlier this week from the New York Times and Washington Post that revealed new details about a bullet wound Tim Sheehy claimed was from Afghanistan, but public records and firsthand accounts show was a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Glacier National Park.

Once again, Montanans are learning that Tim Sheehy has shattered their trust and been dishonest about key parts of his biography – and as we pound the pavement and have as many conversations with Montana voters as possible in these final two weeks, that matters.

12 days left and there are still plenty of ways to help our campaign:

If you are interested in continuing to support Senator Tester’s reelection efforts. You can donate to help us expand our Get Out The Vote Efforts here.

If you want to hear more about our race you are more than we would love to have you at an upcoming virtual strategy session with senior members of our team. Tonight, at 5:30 MT/ 7:30 ET, I will join Coordinated Campaign Director, Nick Marroletti for an update on GOTV efforts. If you are interested in attending, you can RSVP here!

If you can’t make that, next Wednesday, October 30th, at 5:30 MT / 7:30 ET, I will join Communications Director, Monica Robinson for a discussion of our messaging in this final stretch. You can RSVP for that here!

You can volunteer with our Field Program

Either in-person in Montana - here

Remotely through a Phone Bank - here

Or if you are a lawyer/legal professional, assist our Voter Protection operation either remotely or in person - here

Finally, help spread the word. While the campaign pushes local media to cover these breaking stories and elevates them in, we need regular folks sharing these storis with their networks and on social media. Montanans need to learn about this – help us reach them:
