Reading your Substack while standing in line to vote in Pasquotank County, NC. Long lines all day and lots of enthusiasm. And about seventy-five students from the nearby college just marched over and got in line behind me!!

Jessica, your TikTok about tfg’s concepts of an idea about mass deportation is amazing! How you manage to cram all you do into the same 24 hours we all have is brilliant!

Thanks, Julie! I was really pleased with it too but didn't expect that many others to be interested. You just never know.

Hi Jessica, we're all a bit behind at this stage of the game, but that's because we're all working extra hard to elect Kamala/Walz, which we must do. I'm looking forward to your talk tomorrow on the Network NOVA Power Lunch. What a great venue for you!!!

Fabulous TikTok! Thanks for this and all the amazing information, actions and pep talks you regularly provide us. ❤️

Also, the particular sticky notes you highlighted are already sold out, but there are plenty of other options on Etsy that are easy to find by following your link. What a super and easy idea for GOTV. Thank you!

Oh wow really? That's too bad but a handwritten note is just as good!

Absolutely! And the fact that they went so quickly is a great indicator that people are eager to take action.

Love the information about the costs of mass deportation. I have an upcoming call with an old family friend who is a Fox News / Trump fan, especially because of his economics. At least that was the reason last time around for voting for him. Very curious to hear what she has to say now, but thinking hard about how to approach that conversation. This video and post are helpful. Other suggestions are welcome.

Your 5 minutes on the impact of "mass deportation" is perfection...thank you! I posted to X (I hate saying X!) I gave the youtube link with "If you find yourself cheering when Trump says he's going to send back millions of "illegals," take a moment to learn the actual economic cost (never mind how it would tear families apart). Thanks, @JessCraven101

Great idea with the sticky notes.

I wish it said something about voting for Democrats down ballot.

A Harris/Walz win will save democracy.

A trifecta will get a lot of good things passed.

BIG turnout for early voting in Siler City, NC on first day of early voting. We risked waiting until Tuesday. Put out last Shelane Etchison Independent for Congress in NC 9 to replace incumbent Republican. Just heard, big line in Greensboro too. Sent snail mail to NPR in DC with printed copy of End Putin's War, then an email copy to WUNC where I have been a sustainer for decades. Hope they will collaborate to have PEACE see the light.. Rather than post again to you, just find in Chapter on Putin's War in 4th edition of "Every War Is An UnCivil War" Amazon Kindle/Paperback. love, Doc

Volunteers needed! Student Turnout Projects are a collection of state-based organizations working to get out the vote on college campuses in Michigan (For Michigan), North Carolina (Rally NC), Pennsyllvania (Project 26 PA), and Wisconsin (The Wisco Project)). They are desperate for volunteers organizing on the ground.

If you or anyone you know is in one of those states, or is willing to travel (even just a day trip), or is attending school in a swing state, please consider volunteering or taking a paid part-time or full-time position using this sign-up. …And please forward it it someone who might know someone – treat it like a ponzi scheme ; )

On the ground, it is a really desperate, all hands on deck moment. Some of my high earning/ highly educated friends initially didn’t realize it was worth their time but it really could make the difference in this race. The best internal polling shows the race is literally tied, so it’s very possible a few more hardworking organizers could change the outcome.

Please consider putting yourself out there and also suggesting or sharing it with someone who you haven’t talked to in a while or aren’t sure would be willing.

I sent an email to about 20 activists encouraging them to adopt a state via your newsletters, Jess. I adopted NC early on but wanted to be sure I'd signed up with your Adopt NC newsletter. I don't think I was successful, and I know you're super busy. Is there a way for you to confirm that I signed up and can you send me the NC master info? - when you get a chance. Much gratitude!!
