Regarding gun laws. Kamala and Tim are gun owners. The other guy can’t legally own a firearm.

That is exactly my experience canvassing! I have had so many good conversations with people bringing up points they just had not thought about - like the guy who could not understand how anyone could vote for Trump but didn't want to talk about down ballot candidates - until I mentioned that we can't stop "stupid people" (his words) going for Trump but we can make sure we have a Congress ready to stop him! Or the young Latino who listens to podcasts about how strong Trump is and worried that a woman would. It be strong - but agreed to check out some MSNBC shows before he decides.... And I. Would go on. Just talk to everyone you see - in the grocery store, in the bank, at the hair cutting salon.... We can do this! Linda

I'm giving it everything I've got. Donations, postcards, letters, and walking my neighborhood this week. As Coach Walz would say, it's fourth quarter and we have the ball so let's get it in the end zone!

I loved this today and I didn’t read thru your whole post bc I am done today, but not before I admonished Speaker Mike Johnson to get Congress back to pass emergency funding for FEMA and the SBA. That’s the kind of task I love because I have been contacting my useless GOP House Representative Mike Bost who is not supportive of issues that concern me. Voted against the Infrastructure bill but IL has been spending it here in his district, never supports common sense gun legislation and is MAGA thru and thru. Ready for a change

I think it is a mistake to include felons currently serving time to vote . Once time is served and they are released they should be able to vote but not before. Why is this legislation proposing voting rights for those in prison? Seems a good reason to vote against it when everything else is a good idea

It's the time of year for seniors to decide which Medicare company they will use for the next year. I receive over 30 spam calls per day. I'm so afraid that many seniors are like me, and don't answer their phone during this time of year.

On the bright side, I voted early and turned my entire ballot blue. I also have standing appointments, and an Uber both ways. I talk to every driver about what is at stake in this election.
