Hi, all, and happy Wednesday!
I know. I said I wouldn’t be back until Monday, and here I am. Stuff came up!
First, one of my subscribers sent me the above graphic from the amazing folks at The Union, and I thought some of you might find it useful for tomorrow.
Second, I just heard from the White House about a virtual event they’re having TODAY that some of you might want to attend:
Briefing for the American Jewish Community
Wednesday, November 22
Time:Â 3:00 PM EST
RSVPÂ Here
The White House invites you to a virtual briefing provided by John Kirby, Coordinator for Strategic Communications, National Security Council. We are encouraged to share the invitation with our friends and family in the American Jewish community.
Finally, and this is time sensitive: Postcards to Voters has a new campaign for a December 5th Special Election in Florida. Your help is needed over the holiday weekend. Thanks to Michele from Small Deeds Done for flagging!
From Michele:
A Republican Florida State Representative resigned and a Special Election was called. It will be held December 5 and many speculate that this date was chosen to enjoy low turnout to keep the seat in Republican hands. We’re writing for Democrat Johnny Farias and Postcards to Voters has plenty of addresses to share with you.  You can help by writing to 5 voters (or more).Â
Request addresses by sending an email to Request@AbbyAddresses.org with the following text in the body of the message: Send me 5 addresses for the FL VBM Volusia County campaign. Before you hit SEND, please delete your email signature and leave only the one sentence for Abby.
You can also go through the PTV linktree. Thanks!
Now really, go rest.
Talk to you Monday. Happy Thanksgiving.
Jess
Anyone navigating Thanksgiving with right wing friends or relatives might want to checkout Faithful America’s Facebook page where the have a replay of last night’s webinar: Tough Turkey. I watched it last night as was inspired and encouraged to find workable ways how to productively handle difficult situations. I highly recommend this one.
You rock Jessica!
