Hi, all!
Here’s the recording of my conversation with Gabriela Soto earlier today. If you weren’t able to attend I really, REALLY urge you to watch. Please ignore the fact that I’m not on video at first—I show up right after minute one.
This conversation was profoundly disturbing and moving. Gabriela has two small kids at home and is expecting a third, so she had a lot on her hands as we talked, but it didn’t stop her from conveying her passion, agony, determination, and righteous anger. I think you’ll agree it’s a must-watch conversation.
Since some of you asked, I asked Gabriela for her Zelle. It is 973-930-3179 (Gabriela Soto).
The go fund me for her family is here.
The Go Fund Me for other families at Delaney Hall is here.
The Delaney Hall commissary fund is here but it seems to be pretty well funded.
She also sent me these:

Thanks so much for being willing to help in any way you can. Please share this video far and wide to folks who may not fully understand what’s happening at Delaney Hall and other detention centers across the country. It’s got to end.
Thanks,
Jess
