Thank you they are. I probably should have elaborated but didn’t want to make the post about me and my family. Anyway, they came down with the flu on day one and that turned into pneumonia (after one ill-fated day where we thought they were getting better and took a day trip). From there severe dehydration and almost a hospital trip. It was truly scary and awful. Anyway. MJ saw a wonderful doctor there in a private practice and got on antibiotics. It took a couple of days but they were able to finally get up and get on a plane for home. All in all a pretty dreadful trip! But Mj will be fine thank God.
An addition to this great list… In the Thanksgiving Day election I St Vincent, the leader of 24 years, who seems a lot like Trump, was voted out by an enormous margin. The Democrats are finally in power!! Apparently people in St Vincent follow news in the US closely so I see this as another rebuke of the orange monster. Yay!
I, too, heard from the NYT re: their article on trump's aging (I had sent a letter months ago as well). I'm sure all our emails about this got their attention! Thanks as always, Jess!

This is Diane in Nyack, NY. This morning at Grace Episcopal Church, the priest spoke against gender based violence - apparently, the Dioscese is making statements on this issue. Good!
