A special invitation.

Hi, all, and happy Monday (and Rosh Hashanah) again!

I know I said I was taking today off, but I’m making an exception to send out a very special invitation to an event happening here in L.A. this weekend. It’s a fundraiser for two excellent causes, and I am co-hosting!

It’s called Ballots Over Broadway, and it’s on October 1st in Hancock Park. It’s a live musical extravaganza in a beautiful back yard with performances by dozens of Broadway notables. There’s food, dessert, an OPEN BAR, a silent auction, and entertainment that I swear is some of the best I’ve seen (this is BOB’s fourth year running.) All funds raised go to two incredible orgs—Field Team Six and DemocraShe.

We still have lots of tickets left and really, really want more people to come. But I’d be grateful for donations even if you can’t attend (which most of you can’t…because this newsletter goes out to all 50 states!) Your money will be VERY well spent registering voters and helping young women run for office!
